About our Swamiji and His Mission

Paramahamsa Nithyananda is an enlightened master living with us today. He has founded a worldwide movement for meditation and inner bliss. Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam is located at Bidadi, Off Mysore Road, Bangalore, India and has several ashrams and centers around the world.

The services provided by these organization include meditation, yoga, free spiritual healing (through spiritual energy ), free education to youth, promoting traditional art and culture, satsangs (spiritual gatherings), corporate programs, free medical camps, free meals at all ashrams worldwide, and recreating The Holistic system of education for children through the in-house Gurukul and etc.. Meditation according to Nithyananda is all about creating a sense of awareness which invariably leads to healing the mind, body and soul.

He left home at a young age and traveled the length and breadth of India, visiting holy shrines, associating with several yogis and mystics during this period and realizing his intrinsic knowledge in the paths of meditation, yoga, knowledge, devotion, Tantra and other Eastern metaphysical sciences. With an enlightened insight into the problems that common man faced, he defined his mission for humanity at large. To the question posed by a devotee of whether he is God, Nithyananda simply replies, “I am not here to prove I am Divine, I am here to prove you are Divine.”
